Power Wheels

The backyard, no matter how treacherous, has met its match! The Power Wheels A.T. Rex is one ferocious machine and is ready for the challenge. Kids from 3 years and older are going to love getting this for Christmas 2008. The AT Rex starts clawing its way through the backyard with the simple pull of a handle. The baterry-powered ATV has big teeth, a mean growl, and red flashing eyes. The AT Rex is built with the Monster Traction drive system which allows your kids to move through tough terrain withou getting stuck or bogging down, it is just like a real ATV!

Power Wheels

The Power Wheels AT Rex is a very fun and safe for kids ages 3 and up. Its a toy that is like a real ATV and encourages kids to explore the outdoors and learn how to develop responsible driving skills. The brightly colored plastic body is durable and able to withstand the wear and tear of the backyard. The large, plastic tires help navigate through rough terrain. The A.T. Rex is designed to look like a real all-terrain vehicle. It also comes with a special surprise! When your child pulls the T-Rex handle, the Power Wheels AT Rex begins flashing its red eyes and releases a ferocious roar.

The A.T. Rex is designed to be simple to operate for those young children. A shift lever on the dash allows children to select forward direction or reverse direction and has a starter speed of 2.5 miles per hour or an advanced speed of 5 miles per hour. Moving the ATV is as simple as having your child press down on the foot pedal located on the floorboard. Initially the motion may feel a little jerky, so be sure to carefully watch your child and have them practice a few times...first at the slower speed then the faster and more advanced speed.

The AT Rex has a braking system that is patented and that stops the ATV when your child lifts their foot from the pedal. This motion (similar to the starting motion) may be slightly abrupt and again, please watch your child closely until they are accustomed to this movement.

The Power Wheels AT Rex is built with the Power Wheels Monster Traction drive system. This allows the ATV to move through rough terrain like gravel, grass, mud and more. Even though the Monster Traction drive system helps prevent the ATV from getting stuck, unlike other battery-powered vehicles, your child should only operate the A.T. Rex on level ground. Stay away from water and stay away from other moving vehicles (especially where the driver may not be able to see the AT Rex or your child) or other ground hazards. As with any powered toy, your child should always be supervised by an adult while your child is playing on the AT Rex.
